Services of Care
Our food pantry program is designed to provide nutritious food and essential resources to individuals and families in need, fostering a hunger-free community through compassion, dignity and support. We strive to empower those we serve with short-term and long-term resources in-house and through partners.
Transition Assistance

One of the beautiful rewards is seeing clients reenter personal living spaces and our Love Again Overstock program allows families/individuals to shop for household goods free of charge to furnish their new living space. Donations are accepted, but not required.
Food Pantry

The Food Pantry provides fresh meat, fresh fruits and vegetables along with a variety of other food sources to those in need. Unsheltered clients receive non-perishable food items and water.
Homeless Support

For our unsheltered clients, the pantry provides non-perishable food and bottled water and hygiene products. The pantry is an official water station for homeless individuals in the summer where they know they can hydrate.
Holiday Support

Holidays can be an emotional time for many and when you are faced with hardship or unexpected difficulties it can be even more stressful. Our food program provides meals for Thanksgiving and Christmas along with toys for the holidays provided through WFAA's Santa's Helpers to ease the burden of life's circumstances.
Food Education

Many of our clients are from various cultures and not always familiar with specific foods. We provide food information on the cleaning, preparation and storage of specific foods to prevent waste of familiar fresh, nutritious foods.
The program is incorporating technical resources to allow clients to view pre-recorded messages to aide in the understanding of common food types.
Personal Items

The pantry provides personal items for families with young children and older adults allowing funds to be redirected to other necessary expenses. The diapers are donated as part of community service outreach through the Collin County Juvenile System. Supplemental support is provided by Baby Booties Diaper Bank in McKinney.
